Industrial Base Analysis & Sustainment
The Department of Commerce has announced a $3B investment in America’s communities with funding from the American Rescue Plan. The press release package is attached. Of special note to our community is the Good Jobs Challenge, but other programs may be of interest to you as well. DoD Industrial Base Analysis and Sustainment Director Adele Ratcliff and her team have been working with Commerce’s Economic Development Administration (EDA), which will implement the programs. We have organized webinar with the EDA leadership to brief the Good Jobs Challenge and answer your questions about the funding opportunity.
The webinar has been scheduled for Monday, August 16th at 1300 ET. The session will feature officials from EDA who can provide insight to the Good Jobs Challenge goals and answer your questions about the proposal and award process. Ms. Adele Ratcliff and Mr. Scott Frost will be on hand to highlight how this opportunity can augment and connect to NIIS efforts.
